Our Historical Society is a nonprofit organization devoted to the preservation of local history and is chartered by the State of New york. Membership and Donations are an important part of keeping our projects going forward. Each year maintenance and upkeep funds for our circa 1767 Walden House are essential--and we can't do it without your help. Thank You!

Your Donations are welcome and needed
to support not only our historic landmark, but also aid in continuing our many programs and archives.
Thank you from the Society!

Check donations are tax deductible and may be made at any time to:

The Historical Society of Walden and the Wallkill Valley
P.O. Box 48
Walden, New York 12586

Our Treasurer is Trustee, Patricia Eisley
(Your canceled check is your receipt)

In addition to monetary donations we also always appreciate your donations of historical items related to our area. Attached is a Deed of Gift Form for making a donation of any physical type.
We would prefer you contact one of our Trustees first to be sure the item is within our ability to receive and adequately store. For example, our storage and archives are limited in space and we would be unable to take, for example, a room full of furniture or a large quantity of items. Thank you.
